NYSAR supported amendment to continuing education requirements signed into law


  On October 23, Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed into law a NYSAR supported amendment to Real Property Law §441(3)(a).    This amendment eliminates the exemption or “grandfathering” of brokers from having to complete continuing education.   This means that anyone who is grandfathered right now and has a renewal date before July 1, 2021 will have to start acquiring the 22.5 CE credits for your NEXT renewal.  See attached for complete details…  [...]
